They can't even coordinate their launch applications. I bet this problem won't be fixed today, so I'll miss out on all the fun when everyone is logging in and checking out the expansion, and I'm just sitting here, wondering what's wrong with Station Launcher. >

I have the same problem, I updated (I guess) the game from us server.. Then I go back to Eu server, my launcher is giving update failed error.

User account control is completely disabled on my pc, so "run as administrator" thing will not work. I feel so tired of dealing with non-working programs on my pc and I wanna cry. And I feel so tired of reading hundred of pages of forums to find an answer.

In all fairness, maybe SOE should force a change to the two new launch clients. I've been a subscriber since SWG, and I had no idea EQ2 had a new launch client until this morning's Everfrost disappearing character debacle. I've downloaded the new launcher and will give that a shot; just wish I'd known about the options before now.

So by the sounds of it the expansion is all about having missing characters and a unworkable station launcher, eh? I new there must be something awesomly epicly special about Velious that soe wanted to surprise us with. Glad I moved to Fippy Darkpaw EQ server as my main source of gaming entertainment cause it beats the hell out of pulling my hair out with this rubbish.

Does the EQ2 Launcher allow for two running processes on one machine? I first installed the streaming client and was told the only way to start two clients was to have two separate 12Gb eq2 installs. This SSD drive I bought was too expensive for that nonsense...I will stick to the station launcher if that is the case (since getting this machine I have downloaded the full EQ2 content twice already) and wait for things to get resolved.
