I'm assuming you'll delete this Sony but hopefully others see it first.

So I pay to do a routine character transfer to another server. I use the market place and all goes well, or so I thought. After waiting the prescribed amount of time I log in to find my character is nowhere to be found. Thinking it was just a busy day I give them some more time. When I check back the next day, nothing. No character.

I submit a ticket on the topic. The response I get is "are you sure you're logged into the right account?". [Removed for Content]. Yes, I reply. From here I call technical support and anyone else who will listen as well as continue the dialog on my ticket. It seems that they can see a character with my name on the new server but its not on my account...great. I checked many servers to be sure I could keep my name and the transfer processed fine from my end.

At this point customer service is not responding on my ticket. Technical support has told me that there are other notes in the file which would seem to indicate my character is indeed on the new server, just on the wrong account. Oh and of course I have no other contact avenues because SOE believes in not helping the customers.

All I wanted was a transfer (which in the past has been simple). All I want, since it has gone wrong, is to have my character on my account on the new server OR my character put back on my originating server with a token for transfer OR my character put back on my old server and the transfer fee refunded (yeah right, its Sony afterall....).

For those of you thinking of this or other account management items, think twice. SOE will not help you if something goes wrong. I'm beginning to wonder if they even know how to fix these things. Their customer service is almost non existent and when you do, by some slim chance, get through to someone they can't help you.

Its no wonder they have had to merge servers instead of expand. With service like this, its a wonder anyone is still here at all.

Thanks for nothing SOE. You screw up, I get the crap.
