Download Cancelled - Window XP

<p>I'm trying to launch the game but I keep getting the message that the download was cancelled, and I have to continually click download over and over.  I'm running Windows XP.</p><p>Here's what I'm seeing. <p>Are you downloading from the UK/Overseas? Make sure you change your region to US ...update will complete....then change it back before you play.</p><p>Silat</p>

It got all the way through the download.  I didn't launch the game though because I realized I'd forgotten to update my UI. After doing that I attempted to get in using my regular launcher to see if now that I've got the download if I'ld still have any issues or not. It did cancel out again, but I could see the bars were mostly completed, so I hit the download command a few times and I was able to launch. Got to the character selection screen and all servers are locked. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>it seems that pretty much everyone with every Launchpad has the same issues. I am getting the same "download cancelled" on streaming, LP3 (the new one) and this same old trusted Launchpad as Ripchi. I am in the US, trying to update German-Client as well as US-Client.</p>

(i've gotton past the commonlands file- but still d/l) will update when i finish d/l

<p>No, does not work ... US version is creating an own file ... if you start launcher then and change to german version its the same problem like bevore ....</p>

<p>How do you change the launcher to US?   I see nothing on launchpad that says where i'm downloading from?  I get to the point of it downloading  everquest2.exe_delta....   and then it says download complete.   Could this just be because of the servers still being locked?</p>

download from US server completed ok - swapped back to EU, got play and went to char-select (server locked) waiting for server to come online
