Maelin Starpyre was a gnomish researcher and head of the library in the Plane of Knowledge in EQlive. Tholuxe Paells is the God of Lust, a lesser diety. No relation or affiliation with Erollisi Marr.. In fact, he's evil. Torvonnilous is the Demi-God of Greed......... you'll be hardpressed to find any more info about him other than that. Stromm was..... just a server on EQlive. No lore as far as I could ever figure out. I believe all the rest of those are the server names from EQOA, but I haven't played the game so I can't say for sure.

(as follows)

Castle Lightwolf

Eqoa US server

Named after the zone Castle Lightwolf of clan lightwolf of the eastern Everfrost Area. Lord Lightwolfs barbarians dwarfed normal barbarians easily, as some of them including Lord Lightwolf himself were Lycans when the moon was full. Lore was that it was his clans envolvment in the northern wars that turned the tide in Halas' favor when its said he (or some of his clan) slain the barbarian Anu Village Chiefton.

Diren Hold

Eqoa US server

Named after the zone Diren's Hold where the greatest Shamans and Farseers of the Barbarians often visited. Theres more lore to it though it escapes me at this moment.

Ferran's Hope

Eqoa US server

Named after the zone Ferran's Hope in the southwestern Commonlands/early area of the Serpent Spine in the middle of Antonica, where the roads were filled with orcs or bandits this small village was guarded by squires and paladins with a stone wall surrounding it ... the small brownie village in Lfay of EQ2 if was human sized would be a pretty good replica of its look.

Hodstock

Eqoa US server (my own actually)

Hah!, ... named after the zone Hodstock and Temby of the Eastern Commonlands. Hodstock was a small respectable farming village where a few of the Squires and paladins had gone off to be secluded in the small town life A middle aged woman by the name of Feria Hurkett gave one of the most memorable quests of all EQoA (lvl 23 guard Smitty) there. To the east on the edge of the Ocean of tears the small smugglers shanty town of Temby had plenty of shady characters in it where adventures from Freeport had tasks and quests to finish or meet middlemen there.

Maelin Starpyre

The Nest

Eqoa French EU server

Named after the zone The Nest, was the large body of water near and partially within via stream the barbarian city of Halas.

Dark Solace

Eqoa German EU server

Named after the zone Dark Solace this was a checkpoint for followers of darkness in the southeastern Karana's where the Priests of Plauge resided. A small monument of a plauge carrying mesquito or disease ridden flying insect stood on top of a tall squared platform at the base of the platform a engraving of a human mask with metal clamps adorned it. This was the small entrance to the underground temple built on the side of a hill.

Stone Watchers

Eqoa UK EU server

Named after the zone Stone Watchers this was about as far south of old Tunaria as you could go unless you dared to walk around on Broken Skull rock. Along the southern Jungle coast, west of Grobb these ancient relics seemed to harken back to a previous age as the 30 and 40 foot high statues on bases were of warriors and fighters holding shields and swords. All these silent guardians of stone were turned toward the south overlooking the coastline from the jungle treeline and some on the beach half covered in water.

Stromm

Toluxe Paell

Torvonnilous

Thanks for your time.

Stromm: EQ1 server. Only server named after a player. Stromm won the honor of having a server named after him. I think it was for winning the first Best of the Best competition but I could be wrong about that.
