Pre-DoV gear?

<p>As we all know DoV will bring a stat siplification to us. But waht is going to happen to the oldrae pre-DoV gear? Is it going to be unchanged? Because if that is so you will make everything that is not DOV realy useless. I still see tank gear that has +STR/STA +WIS +INT, so that is one stat we tanks can`t use, it bothers me when i want to get some gear for low tier BG and everything has +INT. If the stats aren`t changed on the old gear we will end up with 2 or 3 useless stats still there on our gear.</p>

<p>Yes, it will be unchanged. I believe the only thing that will be changed on it will be the hp/power being removed.</p>

<p>All procs and ability mod remain on old gear.  New gear generally won't have procs or ability mod.</p><p>For a while, they had disabled Ward procs in the new zones, but they pulled that change out.  I suppose they could put it back in before they release.</p>

<p>So I won't have to re-outfit my entire list of toons then. I'll just need to relearn how to outfit them in the future?</p>

<p>when sf was released they didnt go back and change all the tso and earlier gear to reflect the  SF changes so i dout they will change anything on the older gear excepte the hp/poer being removed.</p>

Like forget anything other than your primary stat and STA. Forget +health and +power on gear. Forget +ability mod on new gear.</p><p>When dumbing down you don't need to learn you need to un-learn.</p>

It was a bit easier to accept.</p><p>No level increase this time so you can gear up to 86 with totally useless crap in SF then gear up again in Velious to 90.</p><p>As for the bg gear I wish they'd put the new gear in sooner rather than later. A real half [Removed for Content] expansion imo.</p>
