This seems to be missing or corrupted textures.

First step would be to run a full scan from the LaunchPad options.

Next, You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders:cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniTo do this, please follow these directions:1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the default directory in (for Windows XP): C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II (for Windows Vista/7): C:Program DataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II2. Click on MY COMPUTER and then proceed into local disk C:3. Navigate your way to the default directory, or your chosen installation directory.4. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 5. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher. If deleting these files does not resolve your issue, you can restore your backed up files and folders and retain your hotkeys, contact lists, and display settings.

I get exactly the same error as this with Shader 3.0 enabled, the sides are not missing, just extremely transparent.

During a recent patch a few textures got messed up like this:

New Halas had green snow, that's fixed but now it has transparent areas

Ward of elements has transparent bits of zone all throughout it

The Moors of Ykesha balloons have transparent sides to them

At least those are the ones I have spotted, there is also still the serious error in Zek where with shader 3.0 enabled all the textures slowly get corrupted including flora.

Well atleast I know it not just me, I did go through the steps laid out, and still have this glitch, the only issues I ussualy had with shader 3.0 was glass, any house item made of glass has pretty much invisible to me (for instance erollisi glass bottles)
