View Full Version : Unable to contact login server Problem

<p><span ><p>hi there,</p><p>i can't log in right now as the launcher can't connect to login server. i checked the server status page and all the server (uk and france for me) are up.</p><p>are anyone also experiencing that problem ?</p><p>i checked the firewall and turning it off didn't change anything.</p></span></p>

<p>Yeah I'm also getting this problem.  Launcher can't connect.  And when I use eq2maps to autolaunch EQ2.exe, I time out looking for a server to connect in.</p>

<p>Updates can occur to many aspects of your system that may re-enable security features not limited to just the firewall.</p><p>Double check everything again.  I would even suggest bypassing your router to rule out a possible update there or reset of settings that may be causing the problem.</p><p>We are not currently experiencing any outtages on our end.</p>

<p>i am at a lost here. i tested with my firewall turn off (the windows firewall is off too) and the mauncher can't still connect to login server. it affect my EQ1 launcher and EQ2X too.</p><p>EDIT : i tried uninstalling recent programs and i even changed my firewall. still can't connect.</p><p>still don't know where that come from.may be a port used by the launcher is used by another application. but not sure how to verify that.</p>

<p>i tried using the station launcher and it could connect just fine. So it seem it is the launcher that cause the problem. i think the station launcher use the same ports that the streaming launcher use, so the ports are not in question...still....ikept having problems already with the station launcher. that why i changed to the streaming one...</p>

<p>ok i did a windows restore to a previous settting. and that did the trick...but still i have a flash update and 3 windows update to go through and see wihch one mess things up. and i have to go trouth graphic glitch (the missing floor glitch)introduced with the last catalyst (11.1). this one really did a fine job....</p>

<p>I had to remove the update to flash today. Then manually patch the game ( it will redownload flash ) then i was able to get past the char login but the servers are down even tho they say they arnt</p>

<p>Im just getting back into EQ2 after a long break, but my station launcher will not move past the proccessing screen. any ideas?</p>

If this is the case, so many accounts would be having this problem.  Are you sure the servers are not down?? Check the Network staus page.  And for the record I have never had an issue like that from any UPDATE, I have had this account since Launch.</p>

<p>Last night (15/02 18:30GMT till now) I have big isues with connecting to Logging server. in 95% I got a msg Loggin server not found. In other case If I logged in game I cun't change zone. If i tried to zonning - my char has been kicked out to log/pass window <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" /> Its crap.</p><p>P.S. server Splitpaw</p>

<p>I made it past the login server ...  finally..  and get to the character select screen..   now all my characters are on the "crushbone" server..     i made them all on lucan de lere...        any ideas on this one??</p>

<p>I knew about the Crushbone merge but my logins are failing because the game is trying to load my chars on Lucan and it's not there. Any ideas on how to get it to choose Crushbone instead?</p>

<p>hellp, i am at char screen ( all three acounts ) oasis ( you guys say its up) but every time i go to play it puts me right back to char screen ( i was in game and all three accounts went to char screen at the very same time</p>

<p>I got kicked out of CB and cannot return.  Associates cannot get in.  Needs to be fixed ASAP.  Bluntly, not an acceptable situation.</p>

<p>Crushbone is having some issues at this time that are being looked in to and worked on.  I will post if I receive more information.  But as of right now the CB issues are known and we are doing everything we can to bring it back to a fully functional status.</p>
