AB server keeps kicking to character select.

<p>I've been getting it too, along with quite a few guildies and friends. it's doing my head in!</p><p>Even more annoying is that it takes 5-10 mins for it to let me back in the game afterwards and doesn't even say that my character is still ingame. It goes to load, goes to a black screen then back to char select. I have to exit the client and restart to get back in.</p><p>Also, your website is borked. Search doesn't work and I also can't access my chars profiles.</p>

<p>This is happening on extended as well. The latency keeps climbing to about 3k then kicks to character select. I just got the message that the login server cannot be found. The main EQ2 site is timing out so it looks like some kind of network problem.</p>

<p>Adding another from Butcherblock.  I go to collect an Erollisi Day shiney or hand out a rose, get hit by a huge lag spike that ends with me getting booted.  Have a super-dee-duperty machine, so the problem is not on my end</p>

<p>I have no information on the maintenance plan on unscheduled outages for another company I have no affiliation with.  But it does appear that most of the ongoing issues have subsided in many areas of the game so far.</p>

<p>Most ISPs I know of make their scheduled maintenance schedule available even to their domestic customers.  Surely someone supplying Sony Online's net access would let you know if works were going to disrupt your business?</p><p>To be clear, I wasn't meaning that you guys dropped the ball by not telling us, but that your ISP should have told <em>you</em> (which then I assume you'd have passed on to us).</p><p>Apologies if my previous message made it sound like I was accusing you of a lack of due diligence.</p><p>Thanks for the updates, regardless.</p>

<p>Unfortunately the 'maintenance' wasn't scheduled and was a result of what can only be described as an outtage on their end.  All has been fixed since and the kicking to character select should be over now.</p>

<p>If anything, it is worse now.</p><p>Oasis getting kicked to char select, not able to log in, takes 20-60 seconds for a simple broker purchase, etc etc.</p><p>Loading times of raid zones - if you can get in at all - are sometimes 3-5 minutes.</p><p>What ever happened to the hardware upgrade we were supposed to get when Befallen and Oasis merged?</p>

<p>Same symptoms.  Launcher logs in, checks for update.  I get to character select.  I select a character and click 'play', the screen switches to the zoning screen with concept art.  The status message says 'loading entities', and then I am back at character select.  Same thing for characters on Permafrost and Crushbone.  The first time I tried to enter the game, I received a message saying 'the server may be backlogged' after I was dumped back to character select.  Since then, no message. </p><p>I have tried restarting the launcher and client, and tested my Internet connection.  Any ETA to a fix for this?  Is it just because of heavy usage during the double xp weekend?</p>

<p>The servers are indeed undergoing some intermittent issues tonight.  We are working to resolve them as quickly as possible.  I apologize for the inconvenience, I will post again with more information when I have it. </p>
