Why do we need a guild hall item (that ugly unshaped spiky thing) for binding the GH call? Why doesn't your guild hall call automatically bind to the guild hall of the guild you joined? OK, it isn't that much work to click that item once and you don't join a new guild each other day... but this item seems to be totally pointless.

You don't get Call to GH unless you click on the spikey thing.. and the GH has to spend money/status to get the spikey thing to begin with.

Now, switching guilds, you'd think the Call would work, but I guess since the game doesn't have you bound to your new GH yet (which is what the spikey thing does), then the Call won't work until you visit and click the spikey. Assuming your new guild has one.

The Magic Door for your house (or anyone's house) will take you to your new guild's hall though, without any special effort.

Shrink it down and ensconce it on a bookshelf if you don't care for the appearance /shrug.
