This needs to be looked at.

Crusaders and Sorcerers should not have abilities that keep them immune to the focus damage when everyone else can't do this.

When you have someone with these abilities up, especially MS, the character just needs to use their HP (and heals), then when they can't do that, MS/DA up and get healed again, then lose hp while being healed still til they can't be healed anymore.

Allow wards to block just like these abilities, or allow focus damage to hit the characters' hp, ignoring any MS or DA.

Both Manashield and Divine Aura are dispellable. I do it all the time on my Warden. Yes, not all classes get a dispell by default but a lot do. Chances you have one that can in your group is high. If that fails, use a pumice stone.

There is nothing wrong with using an ability that lasts only a few seconds. If it was not dispellable, and it persisted for minutes then I would probably have agreed with you but they do not.

The majority of my pvp is outside of T9 BG so myself and group members don't have access to multiple dispells without Doom Judgement or what ever brigands have that do the same thing in a single target version (stripping 3 of my buffs at once).

There is nothing wrong with using an ability that lasts only a few seconds.
Mages have dispell magic or w/e it's called now that's a pretty quick recast if you're unlucky on the first go. Also a trick I learned a while back in pvp is if you mez a sorc while they have manashield up you can burn their power without fear of retaliation for 8 sec. I'm not sure if it works the same with crusaders.

Edit: I'm gonna wait for oh mez can be cured but I hardly ever see cures in BG so

With MS up a healer can't heal their mana. And a Sorcs power pool get decimated fast in heated PvP battle. Sorc really shouldn't be an issue, they should just bottom out their power in a few seconds and be left useless and squishy.

Depends on the level, this is not an issue at max level since people die so fast. It is actually a small issue in the 30's bracket where a mage in full tougness can hold the relic 50% longer than anyone else without a healer.

Then maybe they stealth nerfed it. It used to block relic damage.

I haven't played my shadowknight in over a month, but it was definitely blocking relic damage. Pretty sure I've recently seen mages manashield the relic as well. Not 100% sure though.

I know for a fact it used to block relic damage, so did mana shield. I also know for a fact that Coercer Manaward did NOT block relic damage, just player damage. Did seem pretty strange to me that some wards blocked it and others did not.

I havent BG'ed in a few days/week so I have not seen if they made any "stealth" changes.

It doesnt help with the relic. What ticks me off is Divine aura is about a usless spell, doesnt work on most mezzes, stuns, etc. Not sure it it use to be different but it realy sucks now. I think it needs to be looked at, it isnt working as attended or described.

Divine Aura is a death save, that blocks any damage that isn't more then 50% of your max health, for like 10 seconds.

Wards have always gotten shafted when it comes to focus damage. Amazing that no one's fixed it yet, but even more amazing that I'm still amazed that something hasn't gotten fixed for a long time.
