Currently, I have an issue with crashing, such as when I AFK or while the streaming client is updating - say if I left it to update overnight while I sleep. I am running Win 7 Ultimate and computer specs are:

ASUS Crosshair IV Formula mobo

AMD Phenom IIx6 1090T

8gb DDR3-1333mhz memory

dual XFX ATI Radeon 5870 1gb

Also running Norton Internet Security 2011, motherboard has latest BIOS, graphics card firmware and drivers up-to-date ATI Catalyst Software Suite - without APP - version 11.1 - using AMD Overdrive and Fusion utility to mod performance and shut down unneccessary system processes and other background running applications while playing, so nothing else should affect EQ2, but it will crash when system goes idle after roughly 10mins - I have checked and allowed all processes EQ2 Client, Ventrilo, Guild Connect, ACT, etc in Norton and run the antivirus in silent mode also (doesn't allow popups while using programs or media center). Other than crashing on idle gameplay is fine, can run max settings in all but a few raid zones or group zones, rarely get kicked or any other zone or graphics errors, but just can't figure that one out if you can help - also have noticed EQ2 does not work well if I minimize the window and restore it.

Is your computer set to go to sleep or hibernation after a specific amount of time? This would result in what would appear to be a crash.

Yep, I'm an idiot... doh - Didn't see it but checked Windows control panel 'Power Options' computer wasn't set to sleep or hibernate, but was set to selectively shut down USB ports and hard drives or other devices on idle. That would explain it. Thanks for the quick reply.
