I've created a bit of a situation for myself and I need some help in resolving it.

I've been running the EQ2 on my XP machine for years, some memory issues and the release of Windows 7 prompted me to set up a dual booting machine. I have XP (32bit) and Windows 7 (64bit) on the same machine but on separate physical drives (vice on different partitions on the same drive). I'm using the XP OS to type this but I have access to the files on both drives.

I did a complete download from the EQ2 servers for the new OS (Win7) and launched the game. After choosing one of my characters I noticed that my UI was reset to default. So I exited the game found the character UI setting files on my XP drive and copied them over to the Win7 OS drive. That didn't work. If while in the game I type /Load_UISettings the only one that pops up is my main character and the default UI settings.

I really don't want to set up the UI all over again, but will if that's the only way to get it done. Can anyone offer a suggestion on how to do this an easier way?

XP OS Path: Program FilesSonyEverQuest II

Win7 OS Path: Program Files (x86)SonyEverQuest II

I've noticed that each character has these three files associated with them:

Guk_Jumia_eq2_notes, Guk_Jumia_eq2_storelog and Guk_Jumia_eq2_uisettings

Do I need all three files?

Copy Guk_Jumia_eq2_uisettings to the Win7 game folder. It will show up with /load_uisettings once it is in that folder.
