Greetings,I just recently purchased a new Dell XPS laptop with both Intel HD intergrated and an nVidia GPU. When I attempt to launch the game with the nVidia GPU, I recieve the following error. So many times its not funny. I even went on a Googlin' search to find the latest redist of Dx9 to install that (which I did), as the web-based one seemed to only update Dx11.

In Windows 7, I have a right-click option that tells the PC which GPU to use. If I instruct it to use the nVidia GPU, it generates this error. If I instruct it to use the Intel GPU, it does not generate the error. Am I to assume by your reply that this is a coding problem within the game that it can not handle this types of setups?

That would not be a safe assumption.Your computer is reporting a video card that is not compatible with this game. You would want to use the Nvidia GPU instead. How to accomplish this with your laptop should be detailed in your manual and has nothing to do with the game itself. The game will use the video card your PC believes it has.

The game will use the video card your PC believes it has.</blockquote>Okay. The nVidia drivers come with a program that lets you see when the nVidia GPU is running a program. When I force the game to use the nVidia GPU, it shows up in this activity window (before it crashes, anyways). If I tell the game to use the intergrated, it will not register the activity (and gets horrid framerate at anything above extreme performance).I'll hold out hope that some day the code will be updated so that I can use my systems primary video card instead of forcing it to use the intergrated to play.
