SOE splash screen hangs at Loading...

<p>The first screen that comes up, the small square with the SOE logo hangs at Loading... It just started doing this like two days ago. Is this happening to anybody else?</p>

yep but not all the time mostly when zoning back from BG's

<p>What I'm experiencing is before the game even loads though. I haven't even gotten to the login screen yet. It's like the very first thing that comes up after I click the game icon and select Run as Administrator. Doesn't do it all the time, but about 50/50. Sometimes after waiting 5 minutes or more, I just have to close it and try again.</p>

<p>yes, seems to hang at loading, I've been opening a second  start-up  once it  logs  i close out the first attempt.</p>

<p>I also have been having this problem. Same about 50% of the time and it stops at Loading Graphics. I open Task Manager and stop it. Some days it does not happen at all and other days it will happen several times in a row. Seems totally random about when it happens. I have gotten to the point that if the Launch message on the task bar does not come up within about 15 secs I just go ahead and stop the process. I waited once for over 15 minutes to see if it would go ahead with the load.</p>

<p>Has anything changes in your network or on your PC?  Windows automatic updates rarely turns on disabled services or resets firewall exception lists but it happens.  You may need to double check anything you may have previously setup for the game.</p>
