I've looked everywhere I can think and have found no definitive answer are aa point caps being raised in this expansion?

Without a new tree I kind of hope they arent simply so that you actually have to make a decision here and there as what to take and what not to.

But more than anything I just want to know if it's being raised or not.

Wait about 1 week when they lift the NDA and somebody might be able to answer us then.

I don't remember if this was an official post or someone technically breaking the NDA and commenting but I thought I saw someone post that there will be 50 more AA's, and a new tree. I don't have a link to the post.

Yes, the AA cap was supposed to be 300. So go figure.

AA points spent in a new tree, as per Fan Faire.

I have a problem with the Sub and Class tree's max at 100, the shadows at 70... but they allow 250 aa's why can you not spend to cap out all 3 trees

its bull-logna if you ask me, for my $$$ i should be able to work up to 270 aa's and use them. why put the tease out there, if wanted to get frustrated i'd call my old girlfriends

That inability to have every possible AA for your character allows you to make choices that have the opportunity to make your maxed-out toon be different than the other player's maxed-out toon of the same class.

Or at least that is what I recall its original purpose was when it was introduced into the game a few years back.

You can't fill out every line on a tree true but the GAME allows 100 AA to be spenti in say the Summoner Tree, then another up to 100 AA in the Necromancer tree, then you can spend up to 70 in the Shadows Tree

Now We'll go back to 4th Grade Math

100 Subclass100 Class+70 Shadows

270 Total AA's

But we were Capped at 250 AA's Now that i've Drawn the MAP and over explained myself, it blows they do it like that but it wont matter in 2 WEEKS when they raise the AA Cap but re NERF it with a new AA tree.

They should give you enough AA's (or POTENTIAL AA's) to spend the ALLOWED AA's in each tree.

Zaldor wrote:

Why?

Because they have 70 allowed in the shadows tree, I really think they shoud limit aa's till you completely fill each spot on each tree.

If someone wants to take the time to gain that many or continue to play after they've maxed out their AA's they should get some reward from it.

They can make AA gain after 250 (or some other level) tougher make you work for it.

The biggest problem I see is the AA thing, I came back after taking time off the game (3 years off) and all of a sudden AA's were actually important, so i come back with a decently leveled toon that is indecently AA'd

so here is a toon i've brought to 90 who's sub par when it was decent.

The others don't even have more than 230-240 AAs worth taking at all.
