frustrating chat and mail error

<p>Today when I logged on I could not access chat channels, I can not join them, leave them, create them etc. This is a problem on all of my characters. I have attempted deleting my cache and some default ui settings but, even edditing the .ini file for chat channels but still no access. With mail i can click on the box, as if i'm using it, and it stops blinking blue but i do not see any mail window on any chars. This is making me unable to play at the moment.</p><p>Hopeful someone can help,</p><p>Stilpon</p>

<p>Most likely cause: <a href="http://everquest2.com/news/read/current/3841" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://everquest2.com/news/read/current/3841</a></p><p>There has been a few other reports that servers outside the Amsterdam data central has been affected as well, dunno anything about that tho.</p>

<p>All of my characters are on Permafrost. Which is a server in the US. though, the symptoms sound the same of these euro servers.</p><p>-Stilpon</p>

<p>As i said, theres been few reports from other servers that their chat etc. aint working either, i wouldnt know if that is because of the merge or not. But my money says its because of the merge in 1 way or another.</p><p>This is what the Grp LFG tool is for ;P</p>

<p>HA, the LFG tool, i can never ever find a group with that, i always have to PST people.. the one thing that wow got right.. was their lfg tool.</p>

<p>Yep, mail and chat went down around midnight last night as our raid was forming up. Was still down this am when I went to bed. On permafrost. We attributed it to the merge.</p><p>raid chat and guildchat worked fine</p>
