<p>I have a few questions.Will other players be able to use the house portals in the upcoming house system to warp between your houses?Will we be able to equip armor crates in a appearance slot of their own, decreasing the massive space unpacked armor crates take up in the inventory?Will EQ2 ever get a graphic/programming rehaul? It doesn't feel like it has full support of graphic cards and multi processor technology at the moment as the framerate can be really low compared to newer games like Crysis and Just Cause 2, especially with shadows turned on.Can we count on a lot of voice overs in Destiny of Velious? I like the voice overs in the game really much as it adds depth and atmosphere, but it feels like they have been put aside very much lately.</p>

<p>In the past few updates, we have seen a number of simplifications to the game and to experienced players, this often feels like a "dumbing-down" of the gameplay. I understand the need to keep pace with less sophisticated mmos, keeping the game accessible to the masses, but obviously you can't keep insulting the intelligence of your long-standing players. lol It sounds like the new item mechanics will allow for "easy-button" gearing while still providing more creative players with greater reward (in the form of a stronger character) for calculating a specific gear layout. Is this in fact the case? Was it done intentionally? Along those lines, it also sounds like twinking another player's aa/gear will be less effective than it currently is. Are the new mechanics going to make it more rewarding to carefully customize your character, versus just copying someone else's? Way to go on everything announced so far! The housing update is SUPER exciting, and exactly how I always thought it should be!! Can't wait! =)</p>

<p>I would like to know if the Public Quests will work their way into lower tiers of content. I can't help but think how these could revitalize older zones.</p><p>Also, they touched slightly on Velious part 2 in the first webcast. Can it be said if Velious part 2 is planned to be another high level only expansion, or will part two more more wide spread in level range?</p>

<p>With accidental leaks of imformation (forums being accessible for a moment/beta notes being on the internet publicly visable) from beta it was heard that ward procs would not work in DoV. More recently people choosing not to hold to their NDA have stated that the wards are back in to quell the players fears. So my first question is...</p><p>1: Are there any pieces of past equipment that will not work in the new exspansion in the way they currently work today?</p><p>Also in the last two exspansion you have added crit mit / crit bonus and potency to the game and its arguable that these have become the 3 most important stats for survivability and damge dealing.</p><p>2: Are there any new stats that will be coming with DOV?</p><p>With players hitting the cap for crit chance easily nowadays..</p><p>3:Are there any plans for somthing similar to the multiattack change that will make its having over 100% crit chance would give more benifits? Also can you explain any changes to how mobs react to crit chance? e.g. crit avoidance.</p><p>4:How many new appearances of armor will be obtainable in the game?</p><p>5:Will there be any class specific weapopns or armor sets or will most equipment be placed at the subclass/architype level as was the case in SF?</p><p>Thats all i got for now, thanks for holding these disscussions.</p>

<p>My question, I believe, hasn't been covered yet.  We've heard alot about raid progression, but I'm wondering what is in store for those of us who like to solo in our game a great deal of the time.  What kind of things have been planned to make this expansion something exciting for those of us who don't group or raid that often?</p>

Is there going to be a new set of battleground tokens?</p><p>3. Any chance on creating "in-game" wedding bands for our real life couples?  Wife's question <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>4. <p>With the addition of the first, and highly anticipated, crafting HQ for the Coldain Prayer Shawl. Can the crafting community expect to finally get some love and be allowed to re-roll our adventure side? The more content we get he less we want to have to start over but many of us would like the option to change our adventure class having played our crafters to end-game crafting and feeling our adventure class just doesn't suit us. Adventurers can reset their crafting class we'd like the same ability for our adventure class. After the inquisitor fiasco we all know it's possible. The question is will it ever be implemented? </p><p>P.S. The crafting re-roll is free. Adventure re-roll should also be free. It shouldn't be on the marketplace that just wouldn't be fair and balanced.</p>

<p>since this one is about itemization..I got a couple few on that.</p><p>1) Will we get to see Nature's Defender in Velious, perhaps as a heritage?</p><p>2) the Ring War, according to one of the paintings in the preorder, is still raging since EQ1. but will we still get a chance to have a 'ring' progression line like eq1? as that was the 'adventure' side to the Coldain Prayer Shawl?</p><p>3) we've seen the Heritage armor in the stationcash market place. with velious will there be any chance to see racial styled armorers obtainable strictly in game? or with the apparent return of Rallos...perhaps deity based armors, like the blessed player made sets from EQ1?</p>

I remember how that ring got better and better in SoV as the quest went on and hope that a similar mythical quality ring line exist in DoV.</p> <p>With flying mounts opening up will some areas in older zones, like nek forest, which were previously unavailable due to invisible walls be populated with more enemies? Will there be a way for lower level players to get a flying mount so that they can experience all of the zones with the ability to fly?</p> <p>Any chance that player made house teleport pads will be added to the game? Also will the doors used to teleport to different house a player has be player made?</p> <p>SF had marks and seals, will DoV have a similar currency that can be gained from doing daily runs of instances/raids?</p> <p>I preferred the way collection quest in SF built upon each other with the rewards leading to the final set. I did not really like how previous expansion did it where rare collectibles were shared across 2 collections. I never finished any expansions final collection quest until SF. Will DoV do things similar to SF? If so is the final item a charm item or something different this time? Is it something someone who raided SF will actually use or is it more of an upgrade for people who only go as far as grouping?</p>

<p>Off topic Questions:1) Guild hall ammentities? are we getting more anytime soon2) Graphical/performance update? Is SM3.0 ever going to get fixed especially the snow textures. Is any more work being done to offset additional core or graphics card? Honestly the main point is better performance/framerate while obtaining better graphics.</p><p>3) Are we going to see a diety system revamp and any additional dieties such as Prexus in velious?4) Are we going to see the heroic opportunity revamped?</p><p>5) cloud mount quest in KOS make them fly and available at least by level 70. Your holding out on your low level player base with this feature. The cloud doesnt even need much if any animations to make it look decent.</p><p>6) Can we see a revamp in the quality of signature and heritage quest items?</p><p>Topic Questions:1)Is there anyway to introduce an appearance armour setup like DCUO has where the appearance is stored on the characters profile and you are able to access that appearance once you attune the item And no longer need to equip items in the appearance slot?</p><p>2) At one point Smokejumper said he was trying to get a way to access most appearance armour available from the marketplace in game. Are we still trying to properly use these art assets in game. Honestly I don't care if NPC's use these art assets. I would just like to see these armour assets used more in game to make the game look better.</p><p>3) Are we going to see AOE auto atk, dps, haste, cast speed, reuse, recovery, crit chance uncapped like the proposed multiatk uncapping?</p><p>4) Are we going to see item exploits fixed such as the trak sheild buff being usable without using the shield and the extra trigger (3) on bloodletter using the old VP set fixed? Not to mention BG item exploits using buffs such as the wicked wand and Ill Will.</p><p>5) Are we going to see smart loot introduced at a significant value (at least 50%) from the START of velious for set peices?</p><p>6) Even though I know the answer, tell us more about the loot acquired from public quests. Will there be rare drops from the public quests that even raiders will want? I think there should be a few jewerly pieces that even a few raiders will want to encounrage x4 raids of public quests. Thus allowing a chance for some of that loot to be acquired by open world public quest raids since it will be random chance. 7) Talk about the different ways to acquire loot in velious, design philosophy, etc.  Soloers have quests in overland zones better then mastercrafted? Groups have heroic dungeons and quest related tokens? Tokens and heroic dugeon drops = TIER 1 gear? x2 zone/public quests = TIER 2 jewerly/armour? Easy mode x4 raid zones =teir 2 raid armour, hm named and contested= tier 3 raid armour? etc. Is each step inline this expansion? IS there a daily token merchant for people who like to solo and instead of it having a 24 hour time limit can it be adjusted for a 2-4 hour reuse? 8)How many contested raids are in velious? x2 raid contested? x4 contested? If a contested has a hard and easy version can we make it so after the easy mode contested is killed the hard mode contested will spawn?</p><p>9) Talk about the adornment system and what can we expect?</p><p>10) what do you as developers want to see in itemization that is innovative and new for the game. You should have a creative desire to see something in your own game? What would you wish to see someday even if it is not currently technically possible?</p>

<p>Are there any new features that will come with the game for Velious' launch? Not necessarily expansion specific features, but just new game features as part of the patch. Maybe... a better LFG system? Anything along those lines?</p>

<p>I was wondering if there are any plans to allow token trade-ins for the various tokens earned through instances. For example, trading Void Shards for Marks of Manar even if the trade up is 2:1 or 3:1. If you allow this I am sure that a lot of the older content will be revisited and probably not JUST for the tokens. But when those tokens actually have some future value it will be easier to get a group or raid together for those zones.</p>

With all the new Housing changes will we be able to move from Freeport to Qeynos with the LON homes when we betray are toon's .. As of now we can not and was thinking this may change and would be nice if it did. Thank you for your time and help

<p>Appreciate the time and work it takes to make this podcast, and for the time out of development the Devs take to be on it.</p><p>My only critique is there seems to be alot of time just talking about topics that dont relate to player questions, and seem like filler time, when in reality its wasting the small amount of time for these chats.</p><p>There are alot of good player questions in this thread alone, not including other sources, that arent even touched upon.</p><p>I understand there are some things that can not be said, but being this close to launch, alot of critical questions are being left on the shelf, and I fear it will reduce the amount of people buying the expac.</p><p>Just a suggestion to hopefully state more in detail about Velious topics that are really important to current and future players, such as transition from SF to Velious, changes in mechanics in Velious, etc.  (ie that phone app is nice, and kudos for it, but really for a chat on the Velious expac, it was really wasted time)</p>
