<p>Ok so just a couple of questions;</p><p>Question 1, The Steam version of EQ2 seems to be a streaming client, so can I circumvent the streaming part and just download everything overnight in one 12.83gb lump? Also downloading/streaming seems to be getting done at extremely low speeds (100-200Kb/s), is this normal or are the servers just particularly busy today?</p><p>Question 2, EQ2 client crashed in the middle of character creation (when the character name was being submitted), I went to restart it and then a Steam window pops up and tells me its downloading EQ2. Problem is its grabbing a 1.33GB that it never mentioned before?</p><p>Cheers!</p>

<p>I highly suggest discontinuing the use of the Steam provided client and make sure you are using our latest LP3.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p><p>Our servers can support full speed consumer bandwidth so you should be able to download at your maximum capacity.  This is, however, dependant on what else is going on in your network etc...</p><p>You can leave the streaming client up and it will eventually finish downloading the entire game and will update only when necessary at that point.</p>
