I've been using the new (streaming) patcher for the past month or so with no issues. I'm not sure what's happened, or if it's even on my end or what (nothing on my PC has changed recently), but for the past three days(ish), when I try to log into test I get an error window that says "The game is currently unavailable for play. Please try again later." All times of day.

I can still get on to both EU and US servers with the same patcher just fine.

I've tried deleting the contents of the Test Server folder and letting the patcher re-download everything, to no avail. Oddly, when I first installed the test client, the patcher wanted to install all 12+GB of assets, but it hasn't done that this time.

I am having the same issue. I posted on the test forum as I would assume there might be some eye on that if the devs are playing with the test servers, but no response.

This error message has been occuring for many of our customers recently in different situations. I am doing my best to get to the bottom of it and will post more information as soon as I get it. In the case the issues seems to just 'go away', please let me know if you get a chance.

If it helps, I've just tried connecting via my girlfriend's PC, which has never before been used to connect to Test, with the same result: 58MB download, followed by "Preloading assets: Checking xx%", and then the popup message that the game is currently unavailable. Please try again later.

Her machine also didn't try to download a new asset cache, but rather seemed happy to try and use the one in the main EQ2 folder.

Would love to be able to log in to test, but there seems to be an issue with the patcher.

I've been able to reproduce this now when connecting to the test server. I'm utilizing my contacts as best I can to get this tracked down completely so that we can resolve the issue altogether. I'll post when I have more information.

My patcher updated itself today so I decided to give test another try in case it was a fix for the issue, but I had no luck, still receiving the same message.

I don't know if anything was actually fixed, but I suspect it was, because I'm in. Thanks!

Your cause may be different than the bug fixed. It is 2 days later so I'll ask first if you still cannot get in.

What are you using to access the test server? I'm assuming but you should be opening the LaunchPad, logging in, selecting Options on the top left, and changing the region to Test Server correct?

I'm using the streaming client as I havn't been able to get the launchpad to work properly in months. It worked fine to connect to test up until a couple weeks ago

The streaming client is LaunchPad. So is that the method you are using to get in? Selecting the region through the options button?

Yes, through options. I did notice that the beta server had been appearing on my drop down but is no longer. Either way I am still getting the error when I try and log into test.
