I tried posting in the look and feel forum and didn't get much of a response. And nothing to answer whether this is a bug or something amiss with my system.

I'm trying to determine why I may be getting outdoor sounds indoor the Aerie Kolmas housing in Kelethin and no outdoor sounds out on the new patio for the house. This is probably not something a lot of players would notice, but I'm a house decorator and crafter merchant and fiddle about in the houses a lot more than most players. It's as if the sounds for the patio and the house interior are reversed somehow.

I don't experience too many other sound glitches that I'm aware of. Occasionally a talking npc goes silent and on rare occasions I experience a sound "hiccup". That's about it.

I've already made sure everything was enabled for download and I did a complete file scan. I don't know what else to try.

Please /bug it while in game and I will also do some office testing on that to see if I can reproduce it.

I usually play with sound off for Vent purposes so I typically miss sound issues on my own! =/

I see. I've heard of a number of people who turn sound off. LOL, no one ever said anything, but I guess I may have had sounds in the background those times I used Ventrilo (although I was wearing a headset that may have helped with that).

I happen to love the environmental sounds, and the music too, although I only force loop the music in a couple of places for limited time periods (Frostfell and crafting). I'll turn the fireplace on in my character's home for the nice crackle of a fire in the hearth.

I think I may have a clue now as to how some people can tolerate the cacaphony in their homes. Some of them may not even know how many competing noises are coming from their various house objects. Some of which I wish you could turn on and off, but that's a whole other matter. I just put anything with too offending a noise into my house vault where it can be accessed and admired for brief periods. I'm not a kook, really!
