Since Blue (rare) shiny got their Lore tag removed, it's time to follow this pattern, they are not new anymore and this lore restriction is anoying.

Uh, did the rare shinies ever have a lore tag? I don't think so.

A handful of the blue & red collections were indeed comprised of LORE shinies, though I'm not sure why other than to frustrate me.

I haven't gone out shiny hunting in a while so I can't confirm or deny that they still are. But I can confirm that they were, at least a few months ago.

All of the red shinies were lore. A couple of them (for the forges) are no trade also. It's not been long ago since I did the entire set of red shiny collections so unless they've updated some of them recently the red ones are all lore. I can verify for certain that the paineel bathtub is definitely still lore because I still have pieces of that collection from my last trip to Paineel.

Yup, all still lore and all still making NO sense as to why that tag remains. If I want to spend hours in one zone doing nothing but getting reds, why shouldn't I be able to? Getting our solstice earring was no picnic, why punish us with the lore tag?

BTW, is there a list somewhere of all the red collections and where they are?

try page 4 on the Ripchi list, here http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=438969

And I support the idea of having the lore tag removed !

I can see it both ways. We worked hard for our earrings, so I don't think the rewards should be trivialized. If red shinies weren't lore, there'd be tons, instead of just a few of them, up on the broker, at least on my server anyways. Those folks are now getting XP and AA for something that we worked for.

On the other hand, if most people don't feel that way, then why not! =)

I really like the idea of a reward special to tradeskillers who have done the quests to get their solstice earring. I also dislike the lore tag and find it deeply irritating. So to keep that sense of a special reward how about removing the lore tag and making all red shinies heirloom?

I didn't want them to be super easy for non-tradeskillers to get, and without the lore flag there would just be a flood on the broker for trivial prices. The lore flag prevents huge stockpiles on the broker and means that when a tradeskiller does run past and grab an extra one, they can actually sell it for something that might be worthwhile. And heirloom would mean they can't be sold at all and are completely useless once you and your alts are done with them; besides which, non-tradeskillers who have picked up partial collections would suddenly be unable to finish them, which would not be a good change.

They will remain lore, but I'll remove the no-trade flag on the forge collections.

Thanks for the response Domino and I am pleased that the forge items will become tradeable.

I put all my spares into the guild bank but if you are out and about you can only have one of the lore items in your bags at any one time and it is not always possible to keep running back to the bank

Reason for edit: I put lore when I meant tradeable - it's late here!

Sorry for getting this off topic. hehe Sorry Cal, I like the spreadsheet and PDF because they are in the order they appear in the collections tab. I don't have to hunt around for anything and it's in one, big, long list, not on 21 different pages. And I can't mark off the ones I have. It is nice though for searching specific categories so it will come in useful. Thanks for the link!

Let supply and demand dictate what gets sold, for much and how available they are on the broker. The overuse of lore, no-trade, heirloom and all the other garbage restrictions are the reasons you guys have lost a good many players that are simply frustrated with the over control of trade in the game.

I don't think there would be a lot of red shinies on the broker if the lore tag was removed but, wel, I respect this choice and it's not game breaking. And thanks for the removal of the no-trade tag, I hated harvesting those with my lowbies.

+1 Artemize I like what you do domino, and i understand why the lore was here, i could even agree on some port of this. But i see 2 thing, frustration when you try get the collection for your own alt, and forced to destroy one shiny you ll need for next alt is something making me mad (and often a wast of time due to extra search need). Other way, few people clam this lore tag must stay so they ll can get few coin from them... that dont worth much. The reward are not that huge, not game breaking. I was not agree when blue shiny was put Lore, i was camping the sebilis blue who gived a damned nice helm, who was the best helm treadeable in the game .... If you want put red shiny attractive, do like all other shiny, put a rare in this collection And why not a collection of collection like other ... ,) ... a master collection who reward a bag where you can only put shiny... This bag will ignore lore tag so only one can be sold to broker at time, but player can still farm them like they want for alt and friend... ? It's [Removed for Content] easy to get huge item, lot of fabled are treadable now, master are [Removed for Content] common and with research... player want world be open !!! and they ask for that everyday i bet lol.

I just went out in search for the house of a new character. And yes, they are still lore. And there is a list on http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Collectio...Quests_Timeline You have to scroll down to the KOS liste down to expert collections. Then you can click on the individual collection to see what items you need and what the reward is.
