Since frostfell got turned off I can't log in most of my toons. They were parked at the gift giver, but when frostfell got switched off they were not redirected to another location. All I get is "zone is temporarily unavailable".

Now I don't really fancy waiting to log my toons in untill that zone becomes available again, so could someone please look into this?

Thanks in advance.

<edit> This is on Runnyeye server btw

Most of my toons cannot be accessed either. Nearly all of mine were still in Frostfell, both on The Bazaar and Runnyeye. It appears that they weren't just kicked out to thundering Steps like they have been in past years.

Same here on Splitpaw, 5 of my chars are parked in Frostfell and I can't access them. Please move them to another zone so I can play them again!

Just checked. Not only can I log in, but Frostfell Wonderland Village is still completely intact. I can harvest presents, interact with merchants, and craft. Checked Santa Glug, and he still gives gifts. I suspect this is because the servers havn't come down since Frostfell ended. The wardrobe and such in the cities can be turned off/on while servers are up, but I bet Wonderland Village requires a server downtime. I suspect all will be kicked once that happens... Or I may be totally wrong. As to why some are being unable to log in, I have no idea. My wife has a toon that has been sitting afk pretty well since early Tuesday morning. For some reason the servers did not go down then like normal. *shrugs*

I had a strange premonition to get all of my characters out of Frostfell before it ended this year. I'm glad I did. And I have a lot of characters. I feel like my Santa Glug plushies are multiplying like Gremlins.

Were you in Frostfell Villiage or Frostfell Villiage #? I'm guessing the stuck ones were in # and the unstuck weren't. Purely a guess, mind you.

I have 25 of 28 toons unavailable on The Bazaar and 14 of 14 struck in FF on Runnyeye so its unlikely all were in FF#.

Rumor has it that petitioning for your toons release works, but I cannot find a way to petition on my accounts where all my toons are still in FF.

A bit funny, they are always so stuck up about people posting in the right forums, but this time they responded to the thread in the wrong forum lol.

I am sorry to hear about the missing characters stuck in Frostfell!

Unfortunately this does not require technical support. Our In-Game Support GM's have the ability to move you out. Our Support Staff can open a petition for you or you may initiate one yourself from another character and they will assist you as soon as possible with recovering the stuck characters.

I've included a pair of Knowledge Base articles to assist you with this process.

Contacting the Support Staff and Submitting a Petition

Problem was fixed without the need for a petition anyway. They just forgot to run the script that they use every year to bring toons that were still in frostfell back to the docks in thundering steps, so after they ran that script everything was back to normal. (Would have been a bit much for those poor GMs to have to help everyone manually).

Anyway, thanks for your response Joshua
