This started a few weeks ago but then quit and now it has started again. The first time it happened I crashed in EL and would client crash upon enetering game for close to 2 hours. I could load my second account and there wasn't a problem. The last few days it has started happening again. Tonight I have crashed out of 3 Gears instances, which sucks more than usual due to the debuff and not being able to complete the game. It also happened in NQ tonight. Happened several times last night as well in the same places. Here is my info through sound devices if more is needed let me know.

------------------System Information------------------Time of this report: 1/10/2011, 21:26:30 Machine name: KB-PC
Just qued in for my first Gears match of the day and crashed about 3 seconds after I zoned in. This is really getting annoying.

37 crashes in 4 hours. 11 upon zoning into a BG, 10 upon accepting the BG, 9 upon entering enter game from character select and 4 during actual play in a BG and 3 just running around in Sinking Sands.

I've been crashing alot too. For me it seems I crash more so when I'm dual boxing, but I crash sometimes for no apparent reason while only having one account running also. Yesterday after that Everfrost downtime, seemed to really have made it much worse, whatever they did.

Mine got better for awhile about the same time as yours did. Only had one more crash but I've had 12-13 more since I posted earlier. BG tokens just going to waste. I'm about to just delete my two eq files and run the regular downloader instead of the streaming client.

I had thought it got better late last night, as I really didn't crash for a few hours. But now today, I've crashed again a few times. And had some massive lag spikes or something where I froze up for like 5 seconds, and was sure I was crashing but didn't. Not sure why, but the older this game gets the less stable it's starting to seem. I don't remember all these problems years back when this game was new.

Same here, at about the same time last night as the night before I was finally able to get a few matches in w/o crashing, even got a few intoday but as soon as I get into a Ganak for the dailies I started crashing again. I'm begining to think I can't play between 3 pm CSt and 10 pm CST.

@Niayl - I did notice that your video card drivers are dated 4/22/2008. I am certain ATI has updated drivers available on their website for your video card. Would you please update to the latest drivers and confirm whether or not the issue persists for you?

The latest ATI mobility drivers can be found here. ATI Drivers

I will need some system information from anyone else experiencing similar issues.
