Entering the game is not possible

<p>Hiya,</p><p>Like most writting here I have issues with connection. When I start my EQ2 everything checks out fine and I get to the character screen.</p><p>There I select my monk (Sarpash on Antonia Bayle) - he is currently suppose to be around Timorous Deep but the game crashes with standard "Windows have recorded an error and will close down the program" <-  crappy error message I know but hey its MS.</p><p>Dont know what to do - tried removing the LP_TEMP but didnt help.</p><p>now I seek the all knowing knowledge <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>best regards</p><p>Johnny Dickov</p>

<p>Let's see if clearing your game settings fixes the problem.</p><p><p>You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders:</p><p><ul><li>cache folder</li><li>eq2_recent.ini</li><li>eq2_default.ini</li><li>EverQuest2.exe</li><li>eq2.ini</li></ul></p><p>As well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:</p><p><ul><li>Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.ini</li><li>Stationname_characters.ini</li></ul></p></p>
