Cant Log in after todays patch

<p>I can not log in .  It say that my patcher version and the login in version are not the same.  I just checker server status and it says it is locked.  Seriously, 6 hrs after the game went down for a short update?  WOW, I would hate to see long.  </p>

<p>technically its only been a little over 4hrs, but ya it has been a long downtime. I can only imagine what else is going to go wrong when they do get them back up heh. I think they didnt use enough glue on the original patch.</p><p>Edited for bad grammar.</p>

<p>i am sad. i am really really sad.  maybe with all these bugs and ooppssies SoE should hire back all them people that they let go? been playing for quite some time and there has always been bugs, always will be, but a simple update getting messed up, and lasting hours longer than it should, i mean come on.....     i know coding is tricky and one little letter/number/slash, can totally screw up everything but i ~just~ don't remember this happening 2-3 years ago.</p>

<p>I had the same issue.  I deleted the EverQuest2.exe file and then re-ran the patcher.  That problem went away and I was able to see that the server is down.</p>

<p>I actually asked for a full file scan and it did it, but deleting the .exe would be a much faster way to fix it. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
