I hope this gets fixed asap. I cannot change targets cause it says I'm controlled by another player, it says XP is disabled. If I enable XP, it still says XP is disabled. I have between 250-300 maintained spells, some of them flashing. ALL icons in the maintained spells window are wrong, I have the wizzy storming tempest icon and examining it, it shows it's supposed to be the exceptional gathering technique icon. The character is a troub and not a single one of the icons is a troub buff/maintained spell

I personally did not patch (last patched on Tuesday), and use Profit UI (updated yesterday). I experienced flickering/wonky icons in the following windows: maintained, spell effects, and detrimental effects. I also experienced a money display error - both the character screen and the money that is displayed up by my xp bar showed as 33p and a mess of copper (so much that the number trailed off). This is either substantially less, or infinitely more, plat than I really should have - not able to determine based on the display.

As stated before: My (profit) UI was bugged when I logged on using the everquest2.exe. Then I ran the updater and it worked fine.

Edit: Spell window, maintained window and detrimental window were full of strange icons. I didn't check the money I had in my bags. Also noticed that I was autofacing a mob as soon as I targetted it. I could not turn auto attack on (icon did not change at least, I didn't check if i did any auto attack damage).

My question is why isn't this stuff caught in QA before you patch? Why aren't the patches put on Test FIRST so bugs can be caught? Isn't QA to TEST to QA to LIVE the correct launch sequence for patching? Why are we seeing so many failures in the process and why is EVERY SINGLE patch causing issues?

I've been asking this question for years and still not received a good answer for it. The only answer I can find is that the QA team must be nonexistant due to other games and the expansion?

Hugs and cookies for the devs. This isn't YOUR fault.
Zol how much longer? Between a computer issue and the holidays today is the first day I will get to play in almost a month.

I agree with Lil. You would think things would be tested before release. Unfortuneately it has been posted and posted the same question and it never changes. But you would think that if they would quit changeing everything the problems would stop. I honestly think they like making more work for themselves, job security and all. My biggest complaints are this is a 6 year old game that runs porely on new computers that are more then capable of handling bigger and better, the constant every single week updates to change something that doesn't need to be changed. Even with all the changes and the constant bugs this is the best MMO out there.

It's a very busy season. Yes, I've had some time for a couple of my toons to get something out of it, but I rather took Sony at their word when they said I'd have until midnight of the 6th (info I found in several places). So I took a day off for a leisurely last day of getting those tokens and making candles.

Also I cast my vote in with the lot who are requesting an extra day of frostfell and the festival. That way we get our last day of frostfell back and still have 1 non-frostfell day to quickly grind city tokens for festival doors and paintings like I was originally planning for.

I'm in the mommy group too! 4 1/2+ hours of downtime on the last day of frostfell during my ideal playtime!!! I have 3000+ tokens to spend and 500 more to grind and spend on the list of things to do today Not becuase I waited until the last day but because I planned for the full time given!!! Unless I decide to completely ignore all four of my kids leave them at school, not feed them after they walk themselves home, and leave them to do their homework on their own I'm not getting it all done. None of that is happening so this is SERIOUSLY messing up my plans. After the kids go to bed I'll only have 3 hours left of actual time to consentrate on the game before frostfell disappears provided I stay up until midnight when I have to be up at 6:30 the next morning. Please please please give us another day to make up for this horrible patching catstrophy.

Odd, when I edit it says edited by Centhena.... wonder why it uses a different character name for that... oh well that works too
