My guild focuses on underfoot depths. Most time we spend there on mobs like:

Construct (HM), Xaalax-Yaalax-Zaalax, Mosaasus,

some times Arkathanthis

Cleaning the zones until these mobs is usually going fast. I think its about 1/3 cleaning, 2/3 stucking on mobs above and trying new content.

My problem: on the mobs above the raid is focusing on range fight. As melee there is brigand (debuff) and swashi (AE immune) prefered, if there is a spot left. In result, i spend most of my raiding time outside ...

Whats your experiances with these mobs?

Has your raid management any reason to use an assassin there?

Ciao ...

My raid force hasn't gotten past R&R yet so can't really speak about the mobs you mentioned........but I will say that I look forward to perhaps having to sit out on UD fights....I so hate that zone. =P So far Rathgar is like the only fight I feel like I actually contribute. Ide pay plat to be allowed to sit out on clearing trash in UD hehe.
