Error The operation timed out

<p>If you are still getting that error, make sure that EverQuest II is not being blocked by any security software.  The executables you want to look out for in your firewall are:</p><p><ul><li>launchpad.exe (EQ2 Streaming Client)</li><li>stationlauncher.exe (Station Launcher)</li><li>everquest2.exe (Game Client)</li></ul></p>

<p>Unfortunately it happened again. How do i know if EQ2 is being blocked by a firewall? Do i need to close the firewall to stop this from happening? Thanks</p>

<p>Closing/disabling a firewall may not work.  Most security software will still continue to block an application on its blocked list even if it is disabled.  If you know what firewall software you are using please let me know, I may be able to point you to the manufacturers site that has instructions on how to configure their software.</p>
