alternative updating

<p>Just wondering, at home i have bandwith limited internet. But place i stay when im working has a cable modem. Just wondering if theres a way i can copy the updated files from one computer and put them on my home computer to update that way instead of having to download the 2.6gb and cost me a small fortune. If so what files would i be looking for to copy in order to make it work.</p>

You migght think about doing a install on a external USB drive and have station launcher point at that to that, run the patcher and let it updte, then take it home and just copy the files with the newer date, or play off the external drive.</p><p>One thing that might through a wrench in the issue a lot of work sites block the ports that eq2 utilizes</p>

<p>nah its not a work computer. its just that i live 400km from where i work and work 7 on 7 off. So i have too rent a place up there for the 7 days that i work. but if i install it up there in the same location as i do at home the launchers should both be pointing at the same directory correct?</p>
