<p>Hello!</p><p>I'm looking to create a searchable database of NPC chat text to add to my lore site and wondered if you could submit your log files to me to run through a parser. <p>Hi!</p><p>Yep you simply type /log in game and it will begin recording your log files to your EQ2 folder</p><p>Then you can upload the file by going to the website clicking the link and going to upload file</p><p>Please make sure your files are below the max size listed - if they are bigger you can always split them into several files and upload them in the max size chunks (2mb seems to work best)</p><p>---</p><p>Once it's uploaded anyone can find the text by typing a part of it in the search box</p>

<p>I've got you up past 8k. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /> I tried to use GSplit, as recommended, but it snuck in an unwanted toolbar which I had to remove. Bah. I ended up using filesplitter.org instead, which seems to be working well. I noticed that a few of my guild hall NPCs' text is being uploaded, but it's not like they say anything that would come up in a search.</p>

Thanks for the upload!</p><p>Yeah I noticed that issue with the guild hall npcs - lemme know any text to exclude - i've already ignored some of the gatherer messages</p><p>Hmm the splitter thing I just found on google, didn't notice a toolbar but i'll remove the link and try to find another tool - thanks for the link to file splitter i'll change it to that</p><p>Anyone got any more entries?!</p><p>*EDIT* - 10159!</p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: small;"></span></p>

<p>Finally got through my logs. Glad to put several years of text to good use! Here are a few of the guild NPC messages to be ignored:</p><p>"Hello there!"</p><p>"Hello. My contacts have kept me informed on current market prices."</p><p>"Hello. Would you like me to access your account?"</p><p>"Hail to you. Do you have any dents that require my hammer, or armor that needs mending?"</p>
