trojan horse virus on sentinals fate CD

<p>hey i dont know where to put a complaint on this site because i cant find it. its probably there but well hidden so im putting it here instead. my laptop detected a trojan horse VIRUS on my sentinals of fate CD that i was sold. now i would like to know how the hell (excuse the language) that has occured. please reply to this so that i can know why this has occured.</p>

<p>Excuse the language when it is something you typed?</p><p>Anyway its a well known trojan that has been around since release, its also part of the game and you will have to either not load it or live with it. If you have a copy bought from a reputable dealer I wouldnt worry much.</p>

If you have a copy bought from a reputable dealer I wouldnt worry much.</p></blockquote><p>excuse me - what exactly are you talking about?</p><p>to the OP - Your AV pulled a false positive, if you doubt it go to a online scanner like trend micro's house call, symantec's online scanner or bit defenders.</p><p>If you are still doubting, go to the SOE website and download and install the patcher then let it comepletely download the game for you, you are going to be doing a lot of patching anyway considering the cd is a little bit out of date.</p>
