<p>I just bought and installed the game tonight. It patched and froze at 78%, so I had to close the launcher and restart windows. Now when I try to launch the game, it does the scan and gives the following message:</p><p>BTW I am running Windows 7</p><p>There was a problem confirming the size of the file C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_tempUIDefaulteq2ui_mainhud_tutorial.xml.</p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0; -qt-paragraph-type: empty;"> </p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;">Station launcher will try again after 5 seconds.</p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;"> </p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;"> </p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;">Just a FYI while I am waiting I deleted the file eq2ui_mainhud_tutorial.xml</p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;"> </p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;">and am doing a full scan, hoping it will fix the issue...</p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;"> </p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;"> </p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px; -qt-block-indent: 0;">It didn't help, still doing the same darn thing</p>

<p>Go to the folder where you installed everquest and find everquest2.exe and try running that to get in game. You could also try installing the game into a different directory like c:gameseq2 and see if that helps.</p>
