<p>Hi,</p><p>I'm new to Everquest 2 and I was wondering a couple of things: as my connection at home isn't very good, I used my father's connection at his office to download the whole thing.</p><p>Now, I saw that it pre-loaded an "assetcache" directory, so I copied it and pasted it in my Everquest 2 directory at home. The game seems to work, but the launchpad tells me "unable to fetch news", and the Station shop shows me that I am able to buy only 1 item - the additional character slot.</p><p>It also seems that I was missing 1gb of files, as I found that it's still downloading right now. It's weird, because at my father's office the game told me that I could already play without downloading additional stuff... from that point onward I just copied the "assetcache" directory on my own pc at home, as I explained earlier.</p><p>What am I doing wrong?</p><p>Thanks</p>
