Stuck on "Updating" screen

<p>I'm using the EQ2 launcher, as I always have for over 2 years now, and the game is TRYING to update, but it gets partially through the process and then just hangs indefinitely. I have exited the launcher and reconnected to try again 4 times now. Have also used the "Cancel" button to stop the update, then clicked "Download" to re-start the update, and still it is hanging up at some point of the update. It would be nice to get into the game sometime today. Hope I can find an answer here - Thanks in advance!</p><p>Barz</p>

<p>I am having a similar issue.  When I click Play it just hanges on "starting...".</p>

Hope I can find an answer here - Thanks in advance!</p><p>Barz</p></blockquote><p>I am playing on EU server and had this exact problem.In desperation i patched LoN and then shifted the setting of EQ2 from EU to US and patched there with no problems.Back to EU setting and patching went through smoothly.Maybe it were just a flux but i would recommend you to try the opposite way of me. Patching for EU server then go back to US.Maybe it will work for you too.Good luck.</p>
