There seems to be a lot of red named hype about how quickly they got the today's two mergers done. Only 20 of the planned 24 hours used on Guk, and only one 2 hour Oops after the first "Guk is unlocked" announcement.

Then, somewhere buried in the thread you read the fine print. The server will be uplayably laggy until they merge the hardware, which takes up to 2 more days.

So what exactly constitutes a complete merge? And since we're piled up behind the other server merges, will we actually get merged for the sake of playing the game before SOE's Christmas break??

We just abandoned ZUA as unplayable due to lag. 30=40 second total freezes, on all the toons. I'm talking 2 a.m. eastern, nowhere near peak load times.

Server going to be down again this morning. Wish they could have just done the update yesterday when they had it down all day.

The only lag I had last night was some random zoning lag, but I blame that on the Moonlight event that happens every month at this time. Otherwise all was well.
