Default UI not staying the same when I log in

<p>Every time I log in it loads to the red UI.  I do a /loadui and change it to the blue ui.  Then when I log out and log back in it reverts back to the red UI.  Why is this happening every time?</p>

<p>Ok I'll try that.  Maybe I'm not understanding this right but since I'm trying to change it from Red to Blue every time, don't I want that line to read blue?</p>

<p>ok well the file does actually say cl_ui_skinname Default_Blue so per your instructions I'm going to change it to Red so that my UI comes up the blue version every time.  Doesn't make sense to me but I guess that's why I'm not a programmer...</p>

Suprise suprise that didn't work!  I logged into everquest 2 after I changed the line you suggested but that didn't work.  So I changed it FROM red TO blue then logged out.  Upon logging back in it was right back to Red.  Is there something I need to submit for you guys to research this further?</p>

<p>I apologize for the typo the line provided should have listed blue.  I have tested the line on my work machine and the setting has stuck.  Check to make sure that your EverQuest II folder is not set to read only.  </p><p>BTW, which version of Windows are you using?  Can you post the target line for your EQ2 game launcher.  You can do this by right-clicking on the game launcher and copying the contents of the "Target:" field and pasting it into your next post.</p>

<p>I'm running Windows 7 64 bit</p><p>C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II</p><p>I checked to see if my Everquest 2 folder was set to read only and it was.  I changed that, logged into EQ2 and had the red UI.  I changed it back to blue, called back to my guild hall to perform a zone, then camped out properly to the desktop.  I logged back in to check and the UI was back to red. </p><p>I rechecked my eq2 recent folder and it was set back to blue.</p>
