Yeah but this is a major issue. I've had it happen to me on my cleric, and that's plate. 25k damage from one auto attack from assassin ( an arrow to be exact ). Just because they got a flurry and PFT was active, and a bunch of procs that happened with it. That's still no excuse for not even having to use any of your skills to kill someone. Obviously it happens with rangers too, but assassins hit harder and have more flurry chance since their myth now applies to their bow.

Good fix would be to make all scout/fighter auto attack base damage about half what it is now, and make them use their skills(combat arts, etc) to kill someone. EQ2 is the only mmo where auto attack damage is huge from melee classes. Of course an increase in the amount of damage each skill does would be required to compensate. I don't mind if assassinate hits for 10k but when one auto attack hits for 20k that's ridiculous. At least make them use something that has a cooldown.

IDK when I think of an assassin I think that the class itself should get lucky every now and then and be able to kill someone this way.

I would only have a problem if a tank or a healer or even an utility class was able to do this but if a Pred gets lucky and does this I dont have a problem with it, they got lucky I can live with that.

If you were going to lose this way, shouldnt be to a class who's only job is killing?

Also flurry on an assassin really isn't that much luck, it's Almost 17%(IIRC, 15 Myth, 2 Shoulders) now which is pretty high chance honestly.

It doesnt matter that your guy has 250aa full pvp gear 2 of the hottest raid wepons in the game for his class from underfoot depths, not to mention full raid jewelry, is one of the 2 main raid assasins in insurrection, and most importantly, lots of dedication.
I'm glad a sorcerer died like this. The vast majority of sorc's have no idea how much easier they have it than other mages at the moment in regards to defense/ability to survive. The mage archtype needs a serious overhaul concerning dps output versus survivablility.
