<p>I just installed EQII on this computer. After initial update on the Station Launcher it starts to do a scan. It gives back an Error, and states Update failed. Error is "There was a problem confirming the size of the file C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest IIlp_tempUIDefaulteq2ui_mainhud_tutorial.xml. "</p><p>It loops this over and over and over and over and over. What should I do?</p>

<p>if windows 7, right click the laucher icon and run As Administrator</p>

<p>Same issue here.  Running Win7 and setting to run as Admin doesn't do the trick.  Also tried to delete the folders to force new download and still no luck, same message.  Any ideas?</p>

<p>This issue has been reported before, unfortunately I am just not able to reproduce the problem.  For most people using the <a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2" target="_blank">EverQuest II Streaming Client</a> will bypass that error.</p>
