This is general feedback regarding in-game lore more than anything else. With the introduction, via Marketplace, of Heritage Armor sets might the player's benefit later from some in-game lore to back up this Marketplace innovation? Maybe toss us additional racial quests - or a book - to elude to the sets origins? I guess I'm asking for a bridge for this sort of thing.

I don't think so, its only a thing from SoE to make more $$$ or they can create some lore like the vampire thing.

IF there was any lore associated with these armors, I'd like to hear what the Half Elves have. Sorry, but I still don't buy that they even have anything to call their own. I don't buy the whole "The lack of an actual culture is itself their culture" theory. It's quite paradoxical.

If i remember right Vhalen talked about the underfoot dark elven armor once being a darker blue and ornate, this maybe what they based that race armor off of.

It's easy to explain the ogre/gnome armor as the ogre armor being the officer/grunt uniform of the ogres in the Rallosian army, and the gnome armor.. Tinkering safety suit.

IMO, black trenchcoat with extra piercings as a helm and big goth boots. Oh, and like, a skull ring on each middle finger as the gloves.

Also, chain pants and a bright green mohawk.

I don't think you really need lore for the armor sets. Unless a set is specifically made as a replica of some famous work of craft.

The armor is Heritage because, if you've played and delved into the lore long enough, you understand/know that the "look" is intended to be flavored toward that race. like another poster said Gnome = Tinkered. The Ogre set is very rugged and "scary". The Dark Elf Set is very Elegant yet Deadly. The Human Set looks like Normal, Ornate human Armor.

I, along with Cusa am dieing to see (or hear/read) an explination if they do implement half elf armor into the game. And I would LOVE to see what the concept looks like!
