How do you run two instances of eq2 at the same time now?

<p>In the past i had two folders and it was a breeze. I have since deleted my hard drive and had to reinstall using the new launcher system.</p><p>I can load the first one up just fine, then i run the executable again and find that it hangs just before it would say "play", never finishing and loading up.</p><p>I assume that i have to create a seperate directory again but it seems to be hidden now.</p><p>Any advice would be appreciated!</p>

<p>We don't support the running of two game clients on one system.  However, from personal experience I have done so by installing two installations.  To get your other installation up, just install the game again.  This time it will give you an option to install the game in a different location.</p>

<p>I fiddled and fiddled and fiddled and got it to work.</p><p>Had to run the patcher, click options, click open eq2 file.</p><p>From there copy the entire contents and paste it into brand new directory.</p><p>(only reason i did it was to consolidate everything from one account to another so i could have all 24 toons on one account. Yes, i am that much of an altaholic)</p>
