Try a fresh install of Profit. That issue is caused by custom UIs that mod the loading screen. There really isn't anything for the dev's to do.

Update Profit. I posted the change to the updater a week or so ago. It had been available on the eq2interface forums for quite a while before that.

Silat

I've never understood why UI mods change that specific texture. It only contains the EQII logo, expansion logo and warnings/notices. Then when we add a new expansion logo, it breaks the mods, visually.

They probably just shouldn't include that texture with the mod and let it use the default.

Anyone know which file(s) are related to this? You could just delete them out of the Profit directory and the default should come up (that's what I did when the Mount/Currency tabs on the Persona window first came out and they didn't have an update right away).

Profitui mods it to add login direct to character functionality. It also mods it to add a hidden testing tool to use when working on profitui.

As for removing the file from profit it is: eq2ui_loginscene.xml . It is up to date for profitui if you use the autoupdater so there is no current need to remove it. Also removing it will remove your ability to login directly to a character without going through the patcher.

Silat

Thanks for the tip! I periodically update Profit, but usually only if something breaks. Appreciate the help!

It has been a default part of profitui for years and alot of people use the functionality. I'd say more do than don't but other than a general feeling from conversations I've had I have no proof of that. That is why it is and will remain a default part.

A solution for you or others is that they can always ignore the file on the updater and delete it from their profitui directory. This will make you use the default.

Silat
