I am getting 'There was a problem moving C;/ ....' when my station launcher tries to update. I have followed the two workarounds:

Fix 1: (Vista Only)1. Right click on Station Launcher icon and go to properties2. Go to the compatibility tab3. Click on "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select XP Service Pack 24. Check "Run this program as administrator"5. Click Apply6. Right Click on the Station Launcher icon once again7. Click "Run as Administrator"Fix 2: (Vista Only)1. Make sure you are logged in on an Administrator account.2. Navigate to the Station Launcher folder (Usually c:program filessonystation will contain the Station Launcher folder)3. Right click on the Station Launcher folder and go to properties4. Click on the Security Tab5. Click on the Edit button.6. Go through each username or group listed and make sure all "Allow" boxes are checked7. Ensure that no "Deny" boxes are checked and click OK.

and still the problem persists. Aside from moving to the streaming patcher, which I will not do, what are my next steps to get station launcher to update?

I am actually running Windows 7 64 but wasn't able to find info on that OS specifically.

Thanks

try removing the compatiblity mode check mark.

If that fails consider moving the eq2 directory outside of the Program files directory. I run it in gamessoeeq2

You can make the root directroy gamessoe then just go into the Program files directory right click and copy to the new directory. Make sure you reconfigure station launcher to point at the new directory

I had that problem myself. I was also running system updates from MS and ended up doing a system restart. Worked afterwards.
