Is there a known graphics issue with Frostfell Village? Here are the following issues I am experiencing since the content was activated on Befallen:

1. I am having trouble with the reflective surfaces. They act like mirrors and not rending correctly.

2. The Frostfell tree in the village renders with "blocks" for the frosted graphics.

3. The Frozen ice of the bay appears in strips, alternating between mirror like reflection and white, not the usual blue of the frozen ice is see in Everfrost.

I did a complete file scan and this didn't resolve my graphics issues. This doesn't have a direct negative effect on play, other then the obvious viewing pleasure. I didn't have this issue last year, and I am running with Shaders active.

I hope someone can assist or confirm the issues I am seeing in the zone.

edit: I found this image another person posted in the look and feel forum that shows the issue in a different zone I am having in Frostfell:

If you have shader 3.0 enabled, try disabling it to see if it helps.

This issue has been reported, unfortunately no eta on when this will be fixed. In the meantime I recommend turning shader 3.0 off while in this zone.

I can confirm that I am having this exact same issue.

All ice textures in Frostfell village are corrupt. Ice in Everfrost is corrupt. Ice golems in Permafrost are corrupt.

So, basically, anything to do with ice is exhibiting graphical corruption.

This is a new problem in that it was introduced in one of the patches. I used to visit zones with ice textures just fine before.

The only way to 'fix' is to disable Shaders 3.0. I bought a nice computer recently just to play this game and to have to scale down my graphics settings due to a bug is not acceptable.

I have an nvidia GTX 460 GPU with the latest drivers and a Phenom II X4 B55 CPU. 4 GB of RAM.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Yeah, I have this same issue and now my wife does as well.

Any 'ice' surface (and even gems in the treasure chests, especially the house item) shows as reflective. This stands out very noticeably in Skyfire mountains with the ice temple of the white lady. Also, the clockwork armor set is the most noticeable armor set that shows green color corruption, which sucks considering how nice it would look without the green tint.

I'm running an i7 920 with a PNY 580 GTX, my wife's got an i3 540 with an EVGA GTS 450. Both are on 64bit Win7, all drivers are current, etc.

I'm betting there's a corrupted texture file somewhere, but I'm not sure.

I *DO* know this seems very similar to the graphical corruption in Zek, which was also reported.

*Edit* The green texture overlay for the gnome heritage armor looks exactly the same as the graphic issue that shows up when in New Halas, where the same green texture overlay is rampant (the middle of the path running through the tunnel, on top of the berm, etc).

She disabled shader 3.0 and it went away, which is in line with what's been reported and suggested.

I'm having the same problem, aswell as invisible enemies. Just started a new character in darklight woods, the wolves are there but golems arn't. turning off shader 3.0 did NOT work for me. also most of the new stuff in the market place dont render, i have no idea what the Gnome or Ogre heritage armour sets look like.

currently running:

AMD phenomIIx4 3.2GHz

XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 (catalyst 11.1)

4Gb DDR3

really annoying thing is it all works on my sisters old pc running:

AMD Athlon 64 3GHz

XFX Geforce 9400GT

2Gb DDR2

it runs fine on her PC but its slow and horrible please help!
