Simple and sweet. A new command along the lines of:/clear_popup_queueAnd the result will be any backlogged popup messages (red text spam, AA changes etc) are wiped.

+1

And make it key-bindable so that you can just press a key to do the same thing, rather than creating a macro or typing the command out.

Great for switching AA templates, and I like the idea of making it key-bindable too.

Great suggestion, would be very useful for switching AAs. (esp right before raid or a group >.<

That would be wonderfully useful, too, when there is a raid wipe on a target that does a red-name text on each kill.

Simply a great idea. This would be way too useful when using an AA mirror and various mobs with red-text emotes. I know I love to get spammed by every rank of litany of combat when I switch specs on my templar, and to get red-text spam for a minute after killing a raid mob -_-

I'd much rather just be able to direct the popups to a specific chat window without a delay.

So I can just have that 'red text' show in my normal chat designated window 24x nearly instantly.

I was playing around with my AA build the other day and it got messy really fast. I got up and made something to eat while I waited for the red text spam to stop...

With whats in the game now, you can use:

/onscreen_msg_speed_scale 1000 <- Makes em fly by really fast/onscreen_msg_speed_scale 1 <- Sets the popup speed back to normal.

Barring anything better, you can macro those (I do) for AA switches, AA twiddling, or when the guild harvesters get drunk and start handing out items one at a time.

You can also toggle on and off indivigual messages with the various /onscreen_msg_enable_* commands to turn on/off specific messages. But I've never been terribly successfull with that. I just speed em up when I want to get rid of em.

Just a wacky workarround. A better /clear_onscreen_msg command would certainly be welcomed.

-Ken
