Connecting to zone server

<p>Is the New Halas server down or something?  Every character that I have in that zone is unable to get back into the game.  It goes through the "Entering world" thing, then it gets hung up on Connecting to zone server before timing out and kicking me back to character select.</p>

<p>Well, dangit!  Apparently it's NQ as well.  I tried to zone in on another character and got booted back to character select on her as well.  Is this just me, or are there others having this issue as well?</p>

<p>I'm having the same issue on multiple characters in different zones. I either get booted back to character select when it tries to load the zone or I get a message in the character select screen that says, "Server did not respond in a timely manner and may be backlogged. Please try again in a few minutes."</p>

<p>Just want to add that it's happening for me on more than one server as well. Both Nektulos and Unrest.</p>

<p>Yeah.  This is just silly.  It's happening to a couple more friends of mine on my server as well.  And it's completely random as to which zone is going to give an issue.  For me it was NQ, Frostfang and now Shard of Hate.  For the others it's ranging over a bunch of different zones.</p><p>It was finally working for a while, and then when I tried to zone into SoH to join up with my guild, it messed up again.</p>

<p>Just an FYI...I kept running the EQ2 launcher and I just noticed it updated a few files. I'm now in game and seem to be zoning ok...for now.</p>

<p>Been happening to me all day.  Seemed like only if you zoned or try to log into a gh, instance, or low pop zone.  Now it is happening for all my characters even logged in high pop zones.</p>

<p>It was working fine for me for a  while as well.  Then...It wasn't.   The ONLY thing that seems to work when I do it is to run a full file scan.  Then I can at least log in for a while...</p>

<p>I take that back. I'm still crashing to character select so it's not fixed. The EQ2 launcher is also back to what it used to do for a long time..sits at "processing" forever and you have to cancel it and hit login again to unstick it. Sometimes having to do this 5+ times. Oh, and BTW, I removed Profit and it still crashed to character select with default UI so it's not a 3rd party UI issue. This game is such a steaming POS. Early Rift beta is more stable than this. Come on Rift.</p>

<p>OK so it's a few days late but I just got this on Splitpaw server.  Took me approximately 15 attempts to log in with the same symptoms.</p>
