Probably because AGI has nothing to do with AE / AE Immunity.

There is one ability (Wide Swings), in the STR line I believe, which allows your auto attack to affect multiple targets in front of you.

There is an ability (Respite, upgrade to Sever Hate), in the STA line, which gives one person (targeted, group friend I think) 10 seconds of AE immunity and a two hate position decrease.

Respite is a nice AA to have and it can be cast on anyone in raid. It's very easy to create a target macro if necessary or you can simply select them but use the macro to maximize your DPS. If your tanks and/or healers are a little squishy and you're still working on gearing up the guild/raid then it can help during some of those big blasts (like Xilaxis or the stupid crab) but it's also great to have to avoid some of the bigger AEs personally. Or if you like to melee while you fight it can help you stay in.
