Launchpad displays GERMAN news

<p>hello!</p><p>I have installed english and german updates for EQ2, but I only play on a UK server now.</p><p>Can I re-configure the Launchpad to display the original english news instead of the german stuff?</p><p>Didnt find an ini file or something to change it, can I fix it in the registry somewhere? (Windows 7)</p><p>Actually the "news" it displays isnt news at all, just some "click here for your characters" and "Wählt eure Top 10 für Miss Norrath", and some flash-banner on top. It's been the same "news" since months now.</p>

<p>I'm also experiencing this issue (though I'm a US player and I'm seeing Japanese news.) <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>The official answer is that this launcher you're using (and I am as well) is the old launcher, and you should update to use the new launcher. I'l still looking into it though to see if it's possible we'll get a fix. Officially I don't believe we're supporting that launcher anymore, but I'm not sure if it's just going to remain broken now, or if they might fix it anyway.</p>
