<p>I recently bought an Alienware m11x laptop computer to do both college work and play Everquest 2. The system comprises of i7 640um processor running at 1.2 GHz and 4GB ram. OS is Window 7 x64-bit. The graphic card is a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT335M. The problem I am having is that after the game loads up and I select a character and in game, the computer locks up and have to use the power button to reset computer. The time varies from 1 minute in game to 10 minutes. When I select High Performance in the option, I generally last upto 2 minutes before locking up. If I choose Extreme Performance, I can go for around 10 minutes before locking up.</p><p>I read in other posts outside of EQ2 forums that other Alienware m11x users are having similar issues and others are having no problems running EQ2. I found that the GT335M does not support SLI or Directx-11. I currently ran a 3DMark06 score of 7240 on the basic trial test.</p><p>Any suggestions on what settings I need to get EverQuest 2 up and running on my laptop?</p>
