The patcher keeps downloading ShaTplt.vpk_delta, finishes, then fails to unpack/apply the file, giving me only the option to "Update", which just starts the whole process all over again.

I've tried deleting the existing ShaTplt.vpk file in the paks folder, but that didn't help.

I run Windows 7 in traditional XP security mode, meaning I always have full administrative access to everything.

I have never had any patching issues before that I can recall.

I don't have any anti-virus software running while I patch.

Please help.

I did a system restore to yesterday, then re-downloaded the patch for today. I can play, but skeleton mobs and artic monitor mobs are invisible....doing a full scan atm.

Got it to work - I restarted my computer.

Now I need to figure out what's wrong with my other computer that has client crashing. Reboot didn't fix that one. :/
