I recently got my hands on Scorn, disk of the deathmage and I love the speed. I love the stats (2 potency and 2 crit bonus makes me never want to take it off). What I do not like is glide.

I play a scout with 450 safefall and when I go off a cliff or get a kickback in a fight I want to hit the ground fast and keep moving. I don't like floating. I know I can press spacebar to fall faster, but what I want is a permanant way to turn off the glide on the disk. Is that possible? If it isn't, can a dev make it possible?

Ah learnt something new: ah had heard that safefall/glide didn't work while mounted, but didn't realise there were mounts that actually had its own form of glide

As far as I know, there is currently no way to actually disable the featherfall on any mounts with it. Only thing you can do is use the space bar as you mentioned to speed up the fall.

DrkVsr, the only featherfall that does not work with mounts is racial featherfall or hover. If you have a featherfall cloak, that will always be in effect until you take off the cloak. Not really sure about glide though since I hardly ever use it.

Featherfall works if it's from a cloak or whatnot, racial featherfall doesn't (as you said). Glide works if you're in a dungeon/instance where your mount is still active, but hidden for being in the zone. What annoys the heck out of me is that racial glide doesn't work in this situation (I've died quite a few times on my arasai in dungeons because I assume that since I'm gliding, I'm also featherfalling).

Also, since somebody brought up safe fall - it works while mounted, last I checked.
